Welcome to

Mallinsons Brewing Company!

We are a micro brewery based in Lockwood, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and we also now have our own TapHouse, The Corner in Huddersfield's Market Walk

We brew high quality cask conditioned real ales, bottle conditioned beers and limited quantities of Key Keg.

Over the years, we have gained a reputation for producing crisp, clean flavoured hoppy ales. Our speciality is single hopped variety ales. We are regularly trying new hop varieties and blending different hops to create new flavours. We always stock a variety of single hopped beers, as well as semi-regulars and new one-off brews which enable us the explore different hop and malt combinations.

Please check the "Our Beers" section of this website to see what beers are currently available.

P.A.H.

We brewed a "PAH" a few years ago, and really loved the name, so decided to brew it again, but slightly differently. This version is a gloriously dry blonde ale with the distinctive aroma of Mosaic hops, combined with Nelson Sauvin A fruity, bitter ale!

Columbus

A single hopped beer, brewed on using Columbus hops from the USA. Described as "Pale blond with a good hop aroma and a slightly spicey nose, the finish is strong and bitter."

Eltra Gem - NEW

Gorgeously blonde with hints of mango and lychee in the aroma, a bitterness that leans towards berries, giving a full and fruity mouth feel. A lovely long bitter finish results in a dangerously moorish ale

Indulgence

This is one of our favourites! Brewed using copious amounts of the 4 classic "C" hops. Described as "Pale blonde with grapefruit and tropical aroma, a bitter tart citrus zest taste and long citrus hop finish". A real indulgence!

ABV 3.7

Amarillo XL - NEW

A stronger, hoppier version of our single hopped Amarillo. This ale is deeply blonde, with a strong marmelade aroma from lots of late hopping, a rich powerful and morish bitterness and the orange bitterness comes through strongly in the finish!

Pilsner Centennial - NEW

We decided to try our classic single hopped Centennial recipe, but instead of using Lager malt, we wanted to up the ante and try some Pilsner malt. The result is superb! This is pure Centennial hops, packed with an aroma of zesty lemons and a huge citrusy taste and finish. Top notch!

One of our range of dual hopped beers using Rakau hops from New Zealand for bittering, and Cascade hops from the USA for aroma. The result is a lovely blonde ale with a freshly floral hop aroma, a tasty floral and fruit bitterness and a medium bitter finish.
